Annick, Regional Pharmacist

Annick, Regional Pharmacist

An interest in primary care practice was sparked for Annick during the early days of her entry-to-practice PharmD program, leading her to pursue her current role as British Columbia’s first primary care clinical pharmacist, as part of the Pharmacists in Primary Care Network (PCN) Program.

Following graduation, Annick obtained an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency certification at Interior Health in 2020. Prior to her current role, Annick practiced as a clinical pharmacist at Kelowna General Hospital.

Annick is part of the Kootenay Boundary PCN and provides comprehensive initial and follow-up consultations to complex patients with the goals of identifying and resolving drug therapy problems, providing patient support and education and assisting them in meeting their health care goals.
Currently, Annick lives in Nelson, BC and is happy to have returned to a rural community as she is originally from a Francophone community in Northern Ontario. In Nelson, she continues to pursue her passions outside of work such as mountain biking, hiking, backcountry skiing, and reading.
